Largest European television, radio and new media festival Prix Europa 2009 will take place in Berlin, October 17 - 24. Around 1000 professionals from more than 40 countries participate which makes it one of the most influential events in industry.

One of 25 projects nominated for grand prize in "New Media" is Latvian-based fairy tale portal PASAKAS.NET developed by society "Ideju Forums" and us. This nomination is already a high appreciation of the two and a half year work that has been put into project since its inception.

Fairy tale portal has become a popular and much loved media for children as well as their parents and teachers - it is visited daily by 3000 people. Portal has received recognition by industry professionals: best innovation of 2007 from NVO institute; acknowledgement in Golden Hammer 2008; information and communication prize "Platīne pele 2008".
