The food bank “Paēdušai Latvijai” is a food programme organised by the charity portal Ziedot.lv for families affected by the crisis and its aim is to provide support for everyday food supplies.

Everyday, the charity organisation Ziedot.lv is visited by a number of people asking for help in searching for a job to be able to provide food for their children. These are not people with alcoholism issues nor are they lazy. These are grown-ups hit by unemployment and the crisis.

The food bank is helping needy people by giving them sets of food products. These sets contain food products donated by manufacturers and producers or sellers. The money donations are used to buy products not received in the form of donations.

We were pleased to help in creating the website solution for the food bank and we are urging other enterprises to provide support to this campaign or individually to donate money in the donation boxes at the “Maxima” supermarket cashiers.
