The task of this portal for stories is to promote awareness of various literary works (including folklore, prose and poetry) among younger children and teenagers by using a website instead of a traditional printed work (such as a book or magazine) and blending digital texts and audio and video formats in one place. In order to stimulate greater interests in literary text, special attention has been dedicated within the portal to interactive games which draw kids’ attention to letters, syllables, riddles and story fragments with the help of attractive animations. The portal is a successful blend of entertainment with education, at the same time promoting the preservation of our cultural heritage. The portal is being increasingly used by pre-school and special educators as they organise the education of their young pupils.
