This June creative director Mārcis Miķelsons with DDB Latvia copywriter Raimonds Platacis received a bronze award in 'Young Lions' Cyber category at the world's most prestigious advertising festival 'Cannes Lions'.

In Young Lions competitions can participate professionals younger than 28 years from all over the world after they have won national selection competitions. 28 teams from different countries were given the assignment to develop an interactive ad for Unicef Tap project and a time limit of 24 hours. Unicef Tap collects money to bring drinking water to children in developing countries.

This is the first year Latvia's professionals bring home awards from the world's most prestigious ad festival leaving behind many of the world's best.
