Usability test with real users

What is usability testing with real users of your website or app?

User testing allows you to understand how real users interact with your digital product—whether it is a website, a mobile app, or another interface. It is a practical method that reveals usability barriers, inefficient solutions, and opportunities for improvement. The results provide a clear picture of what works well for users, where they encounter difficulties, and how to enhance the experience based on actual human behavior rather than assumptions or intuition.

What kind of user tests can be carried out?

Moderated user tests

In moderated tests, our specialist assigns tasks and watches how a person performs them. This method allows you to ask additional questions during the test, clarify unclear moments, focus on specific questions or problems.

Unmoderated user tests

In unmoderated tests, users receive tasks and perform them independently. Participants are asked to comment loudly on their actions and thoughts, thereby expressing their assessment and opinion. This approach ensures faster results and a more realistic experience of use without the presence of an observer. Both user reactions and what is happening on the screen are documented.

Combined user tests

Combined usability tests combine several research methods in a single process to get the most complete picture possible of the user experience. They are especially suitable in situations where it is necessary not only to understand what the user is doing, but also why he is doing it. These tests can include both in-depth interviews, card shuffling, and others.

When usability testing pays off?

01
If in doubt about your chosen solution

If you are not confident about weather your product feature is done right, use these tests to clarify that.

02
When the team needs clarity

Replace assumptions and internal opinions with evidence from real user behaviour.

03
When your statistics show that users fail to convert

Find out why users abandon purchases, registrations, applications or other important processes.

04
Before development begins

Test your prototype and resolve critical issues before investing in full-scale development.

05
When redesigning a website or app

Discover what works in the current solution and what creates difficulties for users.

Hi! Thanks for yesterday's presentation. In my opinion, it was a job well done—a very solid foundation and an identification of untapped potential to further improve our registration form.
