Services

The goal of this sprint was to create a unified access point for the public to obtain government services and data. At the start of the sprint, government services were scattered across 11 portals, 12 open data sites, and 26 geodata sites. The result? Fragmentation.

Together with VDAA, we developed the foundation for streamlining this ecosystem. Our facilitator, Nameda Zemīte, emphasizes: "This challenge affects the entire public; therefore, instead of guessing, we repeatedly tested ideas with real people. How did we do it?"

Persona synthesis – we defined actual user needs and life situations. Card sorting – we allowed users to group services themselves to understand their internal logic rather than the structure of the institutions. Prototype testing – we validated solutions within a real-world workflow, maintaining a focus on the person rather than the system.

The prototype developed during the sprint is now being implemented.
