The goal of the State Land Service’s innovation sprint was to simplify the process of registering building data. Previously, commissioning a house required navigating a circuitous route: Building Authority → State Land Service → Land Registry. Now, the same objective can be achieved with a single application. During this innovation sprint, our design team facilitated a co-creation process between the State Land Service and the Court Administration to streamline the procedure. As sprint facilitator Nameda Zemīte puts it: "Design is rooted in working with data and real people." Rather than merely theorizing, we tested the solution with individuals who had actually gone through the process themselves. Less than a year after the innovation sprint, the solution has already been implemented.
