Recognitions at Latvian Design Award ceremony

At this year’s Latvian Design Award ceremony, Cube received several accolades, gaining recognition for its work in the field of digital product and service design.

Handwave received an award in the service design category. According to the jury, Handwave addresses a real-world daily issue: the complexities of payment transactions affecting customers, merchants, and operators. "With a single palm scan, Handwave replaces cards, apps, loyalty programs, and age verification. In this project, the social dimension—accessibility, inclusion, and reduced barriers to payment—has been an integral part of the design from the very beginning, rather than an afterthought. We look forward to seeing where this project goes—the best is yet to come!"

In the digital products category, the Tutas Lietas app received the JCDecaux Special Award.
